Hello 3rd trimester

I have never had a rutabaga and don't know if I ever
will but right now it is my favorite veggie

SO AS OF TODAY WE ARE IN OUR 28 TH WEEK (27 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS TO BE EXACT) AND IN THE THIRD TRIMESTER. I FEEL LIKE IT JUST FLEW BY. WE STILL HAVE SOOOO MUCH TO DO AND EVERY DAY IT GETS HARDER AND HARDER FOR ME TO DO ANYTHING UNLESS I AM SITTING. MY WONDERFUL WIFE KEEPS TELLING ME NOT TO WORRY WE WILL GET IT DONE AND THAT THERE REALLY ISN'T MUCH I AM GONNA NEED TO DO BUT I AM STILL HEAVILY STRESSED ABOUT IT MOST OF THE TIME. I HATE LEANING ON PEOPLE AND NEEDING HELP AND FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE I FIND MYSELF REALLY RELYING ON PEOPLE. HER ESPECIALLY. I HOPE SHE DOESN'T GET MAD AT ME AT CRUNCH TIME IF I AM OF LITTLE USE TO HER. BESIDES THAT NOT TOO MUCH HAS BEEN GOING ON.

THE BRAXTON HICKS ARE KICKING MY ASS. THE BABY IS A BALL OF ENERGY AND SHE IS CONSTANTLY KICKING, PUNCHING AND ROLLING AROUND. SHE MUST CHANGE POSITION AT LEAST EVERY DAY SO IT IS NO SURPRISE THAT SHE IS STILL BREECH ALTHOUGH IT IS FUNNY THAT ON ONE DAY HER HEAD IS ON THE LEFT AND THE NEXT DAY IT IS ON THE RIGHT. I GAVE UP TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE SHE IS. I DID FIND OUT THAT I HAVE AN UMBILICAL HERNIA WHICH EXPLAINS THE PAIN I HAVE BEEN HAVING THERE FOR MONTHS. THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO EXCEPT WAIT. IF I DO IN FACT HAVE A C-SECTION THEY CAN REPAIR IT, OTHERWISE THEY PRETTY MUCH WAIT IT OUT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER BIRTH,  OUR LITTLE LADYBUG IS GROWING WELL. SHE IS MEASURING ABOUT A WEEK AHEAD AND WEIGHED IN AT 2lbs 4oz AS OF THIS PAST FRIDAY. MY BLOOD PRESSURE HAS BEEN GOOD AND THANKS TO FINALLY STARTING A 2.5mg NIGHTLY PILL, MY SUGAR IS FINALLY NORMAL. I AM BEYOND GRATEFUL THAT SHE IS HEALTHY AND THRIVING AND ON HER WAY TO GETTING HERE PERFECT AS PERFECT CAN BE. 

WE TREATED OURSELVES TO ANOTHER 3D SESSION FOR MOTHER'S DAY. WE ACTUALLY WENT ON MOTHER'S DAY BEFORE WE WENT TO BRUNCH WITH OUR HANDSOME SONS, BUT LIL MISS WAS UNCOOPERATIVE SO WE WERE RESCHEDULED FOR THIS PAST FRIDAY. HERE ARE SOME PICS OF OUR 3 BEAUTIFUL KIDS.

OUR HANDSOME BOYS. I LOVE THEM MORE THAN THEY WILL EVER KNOW.
IF THEY WEREN'T SO FRIGGIN AWESOME WE MOST DEFINITELY WOULD NOT BE HAVING ANOTHER ONE.

and the kicks keep coming

Nothing much to say except that our little ladybug is a freaking ninja! Up until a few days ago Dawn had only felt her move twice, very faintly almost questionably. I on the other hand have been surprised to find no bruises from the little maniac. So the other day she felt her kick hard...once. Later that night we decided to try and have her put her ear to my tummy and listen to see if she could hear her heartbeat. Some people says it works so we figured what the hell. So there she is laying with her head on my tummy listening for anything when WHAM!!! our lil' ninja kicked her right in the face. I laughed so hard but felt so bad. Truth be told I am still kind of laughing. Anyway she felt her since then and the very next day she is kicking so hard that you can see her move my tummy from several feet away. This little girl will apparently be taking crap from no one which will come in handy with two teenage brothers and 5 older cousins (4 of which are also boys)

SO HERE IS THE MOST RECENT STUFF GOING ON. AS OF YESTERDAY, 24 WEEKS 3 DAYS: OUR LITTLE GIRL IS NOT SO LITTLE. SHE IS STILL MEASURING A WEEK AHEAD AND IS ALREADY 1LB 12OZ - ALMOST 2 LBS!!! THEY COULDN'T GIVE US AN EXACT MEASUREMENT BECAUSE OF HER POSITION BUT HER MEASUREMENTS INDICATE REALLY LONG LEGS AND A CHUBBY BELLY. MY DARLING WIFE KEEPS TEASING AND SAYING SHE IS A FAT BABY AND A GIANT. LOL. BUT WE THINK SHE IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL. EVERYTHING WITH ME IS GOING OK. STILL NO MEDS NEEDED FOR THE GESTATIONAL DIABETES AND MY BLOOD PRESSURE HAS BEEN OK BUT I AM JUST EXHAUSTED. I FEEL LIKE I AM HUGE BUT I HAVE ONLY GAINED 6 LBS SO FAR (WHICH IS EXCELLENT) I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW BIG I AM GONNA BE/FEEL AT THE END OF THE SUMMER. 

AS PER OUR CONVO WITH THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT YESTERDAY, MORE THAN LIKELY WE WILL BE SCHEDULED (AROUND 31 WEEKS) FOR AN "ELECTIVE"             C-SECTION ON AUGUST 10TH. THE DAY BEFORE MY 37TH BIRTHDAY. I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT A C-SECTION BUT I REALLY WANT TO DO WHAT IS THE BEST FOR THE BABY AND ME. I WILL HAVE DAWN HOME WITH ME FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS SO I AM HOPING TO HAVE AN EASIER RECOVERY WITH HER THERE. WE STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MUCH DONE FOR THE BABY'S ROOM AND I AM TRYING NOT TO HAVE A MELTDOWN ABOUT IT AND JUST GO WITH THE FLOW...BUT IT IS VERY HARD FOR ME TO DO.

WE ARE HAVING A BABY SHOWER CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH AT THE END OF JUNE BEING HOSTED BY  OUR MOMS AND MY SISTER. I AM SUPER EXCITED. THE BOYS STILL DON'T SEEM SUPER ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THE BABY OR ANYTHING TO WITH HER BUT I AM CHALKING IT UP TO THEM BEING 16 AND 17 YEARS OLD AND REALLY ONLY BEING EXCITED ABOUT ANYTHING THAT IS IN THEIR MINUSCULE TEENAGE WORLD.

How big is baby? MEASURING 25wks 3days 1lb 12oz

Total weight gain/loss: as of yesterday I am up 6lbs

Maternity Clothes: nothing but maternity clothes

Sleep: What is that? I actually was so tired today I sat at my desk and cried when I came to work

Best moment this week: Seeing Dylan"s beautiful face yesterday - even though it wasn't 3D

Miss Anything? Ham, seeing my feet and being able to shave stuff quickly and effectively

Movement: She is a gymnast in training - she is non stop kicking/punching/rolling

Food Cravings: Crab, cheese, fruit - ESPECIALLY BLACK CHERRIES

Anything make you queasy or sick? not food wise

Symptoms: Braxton Hicks started last week and they are rough

Major purchases this week? none - just some maternity clothes and baby clothes

Looking forward to: actually making some progress on the nursery
